- What's the difference between premium and luxury cruising?
- Premium lines (Celebrity, Princess, Cunard) offer high-quality dining and service with some inclusions. Luxury lines (Silversea, Regent Seven Seas, Explora, Seabourn) are typically all-inclusive — flights, drinks, gratuities, excursions and speciality dining are bundled, with much higher staff-to-guest ratios.
- Are drinks, gratuities and excursions included?
- It depends on the line and the package. P&O, Cunard and Celebrity offer optional drinks and gratuities packages. Regent, Silversea, Explora and Viking Ocean include most or all of them in the headline fare. I'll explain exactly what's included before you book.
- Do you book cruise-only or full packages?
- Both — but most clients prefer a full package: cruise, flights (where needed), hotel pre- or post-stay, transfers and travel insurance. Booking through me gives you a single point of contact and full ATOL financial protection.
- When is the best time to book a cruise?
- 12 to 18 months ahead gives the widest cabin choice and best early-booking incentives. For 2026 and 2027 sailings, many lines are already releasing strong promotions including reduced deposits, free drinks packages and on-board credit.
